LICENSE AGREEMENT
You should read carefully the following terms and conditions before using this
software. Unless you have a different license agreement signed by balesio
the use or installation of this software indicates your acceptance of this
license agreement and warranty.
If you do not accept the conditions of this agreement, you may not use the software.

FILEminimizer Pictures Personal is free and intended exclusively for private use on a single
workstation. You may copy the complete program package and pass it on to others for
private use only. This version may not be used for commercial or
professional purposes.
1 REGISTERED VERSION / USER
A single registered copy of FILEminimizer Pictures Free Personal Edition may either be
used by a single person who uses the software himself or herself on one or
more computers, or installed on a single computer and used by multiple
people, but not both.

2 LICENSE / GRANT OF RIGHTS
balesio AG grants the software user a single, non-exclusive, personal right
to use the Software on one computer system and in one location only as detailed below:

1) The software user may install the Software on a private Personal Computer
and run it accordingly.

2) The software user may only use the Software for strictly private purposes.
Institutes of education and public utilities are classed as commercial or business
premises. Similarly, the Software may not be used in a home office for commercial or
business purposes.

3) The software user may copy the complete Software package in order to pass it on
to a third party provided he/she does so free of charge, leaving the brand name, logo
and copyright note intact and drawing attention to these conditions of use.

4) The software user may make one backup of the Software.

3 SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS

The software user is forbidden in particular

- to reproduce the Software in whole or in part on the same or other media outside the limits
indicated in 2.

- to separate the components of the software in order to use them in more than one computer;

- to modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble or generate works derived
from the Software, or to reproduce, translate or modify the written material or generate works
derived therefrom;

- to pass on, rent or lease the Software to a third party for business purposes, or to use it
in any other form for commercial purposes. This also applies to copies of the Software;

- to pass on the Software or copies thereof to a third party in return for payment. This
software package may not be distributed on commercial data media (e.g. sampler CDs, shareware CDs,
OEM versions) without the permission of balesio AG.
The use of FILEminimizer Pictures Free Personal Edition in violation of 2 and 3 is a
violation of Swiss and international copyright laws.

4 COPYRIGHT
The Software is confidential copyrighted information of balesio. You
shall not modify, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, extract, or otherwise
reverse engineer Software. The Software may not be leased, assigned, or
sublicensed, in whole or in part.

A commercial version of FILEminimizer Pictures may
either be used by a single person who uses the Software personally on one or
more computers. You may access a version of FILEminimizer Pictures
through a network, provided that you have obtained individual commercial
licenses for the Software covering all workstations that will access the
Software through the network.
You may not make access to FILEminimizer Pictures available to others in connection
with a service bureau, application service provider, or similar business, nor permit
anyone else to do so.

5 TRADEMARKS AND LOGOS
balesio is a registered trademark of balesio AG. FILEminimizer is a
trademark of balesio AG. Windows is a registered trademark of Microsoft
Corporation. All other trademarks and service marks are the property of their
respective owners.

Unless You notify balesio otherwise in writing, You hereby grant to balesio and
its wholly owned subsidiaries a limited license to use Your trade and business names,
trade marks, service marks, logos, domain names and other distinctive brand
features (whether registered or not) (collectively, the Brand Features) in any
presentations, marketing materials, customer lists, and financial reports produced for,
by or on behalf of balesio.

6 GOVERNING LAW
Any action related to this License will be governed by Swiss law. No choice
of law rules of any jurisdiction will apply.

7 LIMITATION OF SUPPORT
If you are using the Software free of charge under the terms of this
agreement, you are not entitled to support or telephone assistance.

8 MULTI-USER Packages, Company Licenses
If the copy of the Software you received was accompanied by a printed or other
form of "hard-copy" License whose terms vary from this agreement, then the
hard-copy License governs your use of the Software.

9 DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OR MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the
various hardware and software environments into which FILEminimizer
may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
OFFERED.

Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.
ANY LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO
PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

10 HIGH RISK ACTIVITIES
The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or
intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous
environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of
nuclear facilities, air traffic control, aircraft navigation or communication
systems, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure
of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe
physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities"). balesio
specifically disclaims any expression or implied warranty of fitness for High
Risk Activities.

11 DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS
Provided that you verify that you are distributing the free version of FILEminimizer
Pictures respecting all terms specified above in 2 and 3, you
are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the evaluation version of this
software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of the original
evaluation version to anyone; and distribute the evaluation version of the
software and documentation in its unmodified form via electronic means. There
is no charge for any of the above.
You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting donations, for any
such copies, however made; and from distributing the software and/or
documentation with other products (commercial or otherwise) without prior
written permission.
